Welcome to Dr Scheefer

What are resorbable thread lifts?

Resorbable thread lifts are PDO (polydioxanone) threads, a material widely used in surgery for resorbable sutures.

After a light local anesthesia, these threads are inserted into the subcutaneous layer to gently lift and reposition facial tissues in a natural way, resulting in a harmonious and rejuvenated appearance.

The threads used are fully resorbable and dissolve within a few weeks. They then stimulate the production of new collagen fibers through neocollagenesis, with results that can last up to 18 months.
